My days in kidnappers den terrible – Ondo monarch
His Royal Highness, Oba Clement Jimoh Omoola, Oloso of Oso Ajowa and chairman of Ajowa Traditional Council of Obas, has described the days he spent in the den of kidnappers as traumatic.
Oba Omoola who was released after his subjects paid N10 million ransom, spent 10 days in captivity.
He was whisked away from his palace by the kidnappers.
Oba Omoola, who spoke Tuesday at his palace, said the traumatic experience he had inside the forest made him opt to remain silent.
Oba Jimoh said his domain was a special area, being a border town with Kogi State that is vulnerable to crimes.
He said there was a need for the government to give Ajowa special security apparatus.
He said well-to-do sons and daughters of the community have invested heavily in providing security for the town.
He urged land owners to register strangers working in their farmlands as directed by the Ondo State government.
