Muktar Shagaya Holds Mega Solar Empowerments For Constituents
The Asa/Ilorin West House of Representatives candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Honourable Muktar Shagaya has empowered 2,000 constituents with mega solar on Saturday.
The empowerment program was held at Muktar Shagaya Campaign Office, New Yidi road in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Idris Semiu who spoke at the event, expressed his profound gratitude to Shagaya for the great empowerment, saying that the solar system will go along way to illuminate the rural community.
He added that the empowerment meant that the APC House of Representatives Candidate, Shagaya will perform excellently when elected at 2023 general elections.
“With this kind of empowerment which will capture over 2,000 members of the APC from the Asa/Ilorin West federal constituency, it a clear demonstration that the ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda of Muktar Shagaya will benefit all and sundry even beyond 2023,” Semiu said.
Another beneficiary, Hajia Mariam Olayinka stated that, “as a responsible candidate who wants to serve his people wholeheartedly, the people of Asa/Ilorin West Constituency need to repay Hon. Shagaya’s kindness by voting for him to represent them at the National Assembly, so that he can continue to invest in programs and projects that will bring sustainable development and make our teeming youth independent and prosperous in their endeavors.”
The elders and Stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress, APC who attended the mega empowerment include; Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim, Deputy Director General, Alhaji Issa Amosa Afon; Alhaji Shehu Yahaya (APC Chairman, Asa Local Government); Alhaji Igbayilola (Former APC Chairman, Asa Local Government); Honourable Kayode Adams Cooler and others.
