Muktar Shagaya commends teachers as unsung heroes, applauds Gov Abdulrazaq’s education vision
Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya, Deputy Chairman of Basic Education and representative of Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, extends warm felicitations to educators on the occasion of 2023 Teacher’s Day.
In a statement released through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Basheer Luqman, Honourable Shagaya expressed his deep appreciation for the invaluable role teachers play in shaping our society.
Shagaya reiterated his unwavering commitment to supporting educators.
He also lauded Governor Abdulrazaq’s commendable contributions to the state’s educational advancement.
The statement expressed: “Dear Teachers, Happy Teachers Day! I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your tireless efforts in educating our youth. You work tirelessly to educate, inspire, and guide the next generation. You are the unsung heroes of our society, and your dedication and commitment are greatly appreciated. You have a difficult and often thankless job, and yet you show up every day to make a difference in the lives of our nation’s children.
“I am honored to serve as the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Basic Education, and I will work tirelessly to promote quality education and support teachers and students in my capacity. I am committed to ensuring that all children have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances.
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Governor Abdulrazaq for his incredible dedication to improving education in Kwara State, particularly at the basic level.
