Motor accident severely injures 10 in Osun
A road accident in Gbongan, Osun State, along Gbongan-Ibadan expressway on Friday, killed 10 passengers of Toyota Sienna private bus
The spokesperson of the Federal Roast Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi, has confirmed the accident.
The spokesperson has blamed the cause of the accident on ‘speed limit violation and loss of control.
She revealed that 2 male adults, 1 female adult, 4 male children, and 3 female children have sustained various degrees of injuries..
She said, “The injured victims were taken to a hospital in Gbongan, while effort is ongoing to move the crashed vehicle away from the scene of the accident ”
Mrs.Ogungbemi has said that the accident did not take the life of anyone, said adequate medical treatments are being given to the victims where they were .
However, source that witnessed the scenario has said the accident was grave, and which necessitated urgent reaction and intervention of the operatives of the road safety corps and that of the operatives of Osun State Ambulance Scheme who secured lives of the victims.
