Moro youth, women leaders dissociate selves from fake publication
The youth leader and women leader in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, Hon. Azeez Soliu and Hajia Iyabo Jimoh respectively have dissociated themselves from the false publication written in their names by some unknown persons.
It was gathered that a rejoinder was written in response to the broadcast message circulating across the social media allegedly signed by these two leaders mentioned above, explaining circumstances that surround one of the reports published by The Informant247.
The broadcast message titled “MORO LG APC EXCO ATTACK: A PAYBACK FROM THE LOOTED ASPIRANTS AND NOT KWARA COMMISSIONER”, claimed that the Kwara State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Rotimi Iliasu was not responsible for the alleged attack on five Moro executives.
Debunking the broadcast message, the youth leader and women leader confirmed to The Informant247 that the publication is fake, stressing that it is capable of maligning “the respected persons (Olokuku, Toyin Ayinla, Adebayo Issah Saka and Akeju)” of Moro Local Government, Kwara State.
A rejoinder made available to The Informant247, stated that “It has come to our knowledge that some unscrupulous elements published one write up in our names i.e Hon. Azeez Soliu (Moro LGA Youth Leader) and Hajia Iyabo Jimoh (Moro LGA APC Women leader) to malign the respected persons (Olokuku, Toyin Ayinla, Adebayo Issah Saka and Akeju) of Moro Local Government, Kwara State.
“It is to be noted that we are not party to the above mentioned publication also that the information in the said publication is false and just a piece to destroy the good name the above mentioned persons of Moro Local Government.
“We as part of the executive members of APC Moro Local Government, we are aware that all the person mentioned in the publication are executive members of APC Moro Local Government except Alhaji Toyin Ayinla who is a member of APC state working committe.
“Furthermore, Alhaji Toyin is one of the most respected person in APC Moro Local Government and as a matter of facts, he was not part of Local Government executive who raised the issue that the delegate money was embezzled by the Chairman also not part of the person who submitted petition to state executives.
“We are using this medium to state it clear that Alhaji Toyin Ayinla and others are not enemy of progress in Moro LGA also that Alhaji Toyin Ayinla and other have never tricked or collected money from aspirants and there is no where the said persons exploited or extorted an aspirants be it Moro or anywhere.”
They, however, assured the public that the publication is fake as Alhaji Toyin Ayinla is honourable person and well respected person and the said publication be disregarded.
