Modernising Kwara: NBA Ilorin praises Gov Abdulrazaq’s infrastructure, justice sector initiatives

The Ilorin branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has praised Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his efforts in modernising infrastructure across Kwara State.

The commendation was made on Friday, 6th December 2024, during the NBA Dinner and Award Night held at the Banquet Hall.

The Chairman of the branch, Sulyman Muhammed-Hassan Kosemani, Esq., highlighted the Governor’s achievements, stating that the developments have positively transformed the state’s narrative.

In his address, Kosemani said:“Permit me to briefly touch on the state of our nation, particularly Kwara State. I would like to commend Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration for its dedication to modernising our state’s infrastructure. The recent improvements in road construction and other developmental projects have greatly enhanced the quality of life for residents and demonstrated a strong commitment to progress.”

The Chairman also applauded the proposed construction of the Justice Saidu Kawu Court House, emphasising its potential to strengthen the justice system in Kwara State.

Speaking on behalf of the Bar, he said:“We also wish to express our gratitude to His Excellency for extending the state’s developmental strides to the justice sector. The planned construction of the Justice Saidu Kawu Court House is a laudable initiative. Such modern facilities will not only improve access to justice for our citizens but also provide better working conditions for legal practitioners, enabling a more efficient and effective judicial system.”

Governor Abdulrazaq, who was represented at the event by the Attorney General of Kwara State, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman, received an award in recognition of his administration’s contributions to the state’s progress.
