‘Mind what you’re preaching’ – Rudeboy reply to Brymo
Through his verified Twitter account, Brymo endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu and argued that the time is not yet open for an Igbo presidency.
Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name Rudeboy, is a Nigerian musician who recently voiced his displeasure with the way many people are campaigning for the upcoming general election.
His statement comes after his fellow musician Olawale Olofooro, aka Brymo, essentially disqualified the Igbo tribe and its candidate from the presidential election.
Okoye cautioned Brymo to be careful with his words, saying that the 2023 general election will come and go, but that people will remember his remarks.
To quote him, “mind what you are preaching… Election will come and go ,we all will move on …But you decided to be a tribal bigot because you think you are getting some attention by insulting a particular region of Nigeria and some people are praising you. As an artiste, I’m only disappointed.”
