Medical doctor remanded in prison over alleged rape of 16-yr-old girl
A medical doctor, Dr Femi Olaleye, was on Wednesday remanded in prison over alleged rape of a minor.
Dr. Olaleye was remanded on the order of an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Wednesday for allegedly defiling his wife’s niece who was just 16 years of age.
It was gathered that Justice Ramon Oshodi directed the remand of the medical practitioner in Ikoyi Correctional facility till his bail is able to be perfected.
The Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation has been charged with a 2 count charge of rape and sexual assault through penetration.
When the matter was read to the defendant, he however, pleaded not guilty to the offences of which he has been charged.
