MASS DEFECTION HITS KWARA APC AS OVER 100 YOUTHS DECAMP TO PDP

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara State has suffered another setback as over a hundred youths have defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogidi ward of Ilorin West local government area.

One of the defectors who only identified himself as Abdullahi attributed their decision to join the opposition party to failed promises of the APC led government at the state level.

“We are set to work in line with the PDP directives in re-positioning the party towards winning not only the upcoming council polls, but also other subsequent Elections,” he said.
