Erik Ten Hag is expecting a full diagnosis on Christian Eriksen’s ankle injury he suffered in the FA match against Reading on Saturday’s night.
The Denmark international suffered a strong challenge from Reading striker Andy Carroll in the match which ended 3-1 in favour of the red devils.
“It’s always difficult to say so soon after the game is finished, but it’s an ankle [injury] and we have to see what the diagnosis is,” he told a post-match press conference.
“It will be a minimum of 24 hours before we know that, and then I can say more.” Said Ten Hag
Eriksen has been able to integrate himself fully into the United squad after joining the club at the beginning of the current season.
He was later seen yesterday leaving the stadium in crutches.
