Man Utd’s share increases on New York stock exchange after sale announcement

Manchester United’s share price on New York Stock Exchange has doubled since the owners announced their intentions to put the club up for sale last year November.

According to sky sports, the share has “risen another 14 per cent on Wednesday to $24.17 – the biggest rise since late November, while the current share price values the club at £3.2bn”.

Recall that the Glazers had announced in November they were exploring “strategic alternatives” for the sale of United.

While British Billionaire, Jim Ratcliffe’s company, INEOS has earlier entered the process to buy Manchester United from the Glazer family, the Qatari investors are also reportedly planning an incredible mega-money swoop to take over the club.
