Man United dump plans to appeal Casemiro’s red card punishment
Manchester United have confirmed they will not appeal the red card shown to Casemiro during Sunday’s draw with Southampton.
Casemiro was dismissed by referee Anthony Taylor following a tackle on Carlos Alcaraz at Old Trafford.
The midfielder will now ultimately serve a four-match domestic ban.
The Brazilian will however be available for Thursday’s European league game against Real Betis
It was Casemiro’s second red card of the season, having been sent off against Crystal Palace earlier in the campaign.
While his ban does not include European matches,Casemiro will next be available domestically for Manchester United on April 15 when they travel to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
so he will be available for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Real Betis
