Lookman claims no regret choosing Nigeria over England

Nigeria Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has claimed that he has no regret choosing Nigeria over England.

The Atalanta attacker made the claims while speaking to the Italy news outlet L’Eco di Bergamo.

Lookman, who was born and brought up in England to Nigerian parents represented the England Junior Three Lions before deciding to switch allegiance to Nigeria.

“I have no regrets, he admitted. I took the right decision. This is my career,

I want to play for Nigeria and am proud of this. I was born in England, but my family is from Nigeria and I have a strong bond with both countries”, he said

FIFA had in February 2022 approved the Nationality switch of the 25-year-old forward.
