Liverpool suffers 3-0 huge defeat from Brighton

It was a poor show from Liverpool on Saturday as the reds suffered a 3-0 embarrassing defeat to Brighton Hove and Albion.

A brace from Solly March and a strike from substitute Danny Wellbeck was all the hosts needed to wrapp up a rounding victory against the Jurgen Kloop’s led side.

An underwhelming reds had no clear cut approach as they watch the events unfold at the Amex Stadium against their game plans.

The result saw the Seagulls moving up seventh position on the log-leaving Liverpool to 8th position with 28th points.

The Albinos, though without their Talisman Trossard had a home crowd roaring them to action with Liverpool’s frustration compounded in the face of an injury list which includes Darwin Nunez, Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz.

Liverpool will hope to leave the result behind them when they face Wolves in their FA cup third round second leg on January 17 before locking horns with struggling Chelsea on January 21.
