Lionel Messi arrives Qatar to join Argentina squad for World Cup

Lionel Messi on Monday arrived Doha in Qatar to join his Argentine teammates for their preparation for World Cup.

Although Messi was not in action for Paris Saint-Germain in their last two games due to Injury abut that will not stop the 35-year-old from competing in the World Cup.

Argentina will have a friendly match with UAE in Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 16 as part of preparation for the mundial.

Videos and pictures going viral on internet saw the former Barcelona forward with Leandro Paredes at the team Hotel and also being welcomed by National team staff.

Lionel Messi-led Argentina is placed in Group C with Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia.

They will face Saudi Arabia in their opening match next week.
