LG polls: Kwara APC calls for verification of certificates
The Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on its candidates for the September 21 local government elections to appear for the verification of their academic certificates.
According to a statement issued by Alh. Abdullahi Samari Abubakar, the acting chairman of the party, candidates expected to appear on Friday, 19th of July, 2024, at APC Tanke office, Ilorin, the state capital.
The statement reads, “This is to inform ALL APC Chairmanship; Vice and Councillorship candidates that there will be a verification exercise to confirm their claims as contained in KWASIEC 001002 Forms already filled.
“This is an important exercise that ALL Candidates I.e. 16 Chairmanship; 16 Vice Chairmanship, as well as the 193 Councillorship Candidates, MUST attend to as detailed below: Date: Friday 19th July 2024 Venue: APC Tanke Office Time: 10.00 a.m. prompt.
