Late ex-Kwara SSG Saka Issau buried in Ilorin amidst tears
The remains of the late former Secretary to the Kwara State Government, Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, on Sunday laid to rest.
The late legal luminary who passed away yesterday at an undisclosed hospital in Adewole, Ilorin West local government area of the state after a brief illness, was buried at his residence behind Admiralty Villa in Ilorin, the state capital.
The Janazah of the late senior advocate of Nigeria, aged 69, was attended by prominent Nigerians present, including the Registrar of the Jamb Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede; the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN; the Principal Partner of Ghalid Chambers, Professor Yusuf Ali, SAN; the immediate past Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Durosinlohun Kawu; Justice Lambo Alanbi; and Justice Orilonise.

Others in attendance were the Danmadami of Ilorin, Alhaji Shehu Gafar; the Danmasani of Ilorin, Alhaji Engr. Sulyman Alapansapa; KWASU Don, Professor Hamza Abdulraheem; the Talba of Ebira, Alhaji Hamza; former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold; and former Chief Press Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Wahab Oba, along with top legal professionals, politicians, academics, and other dignitaries.
The Informant247 reports that Alhaji Saka Issau (SAN), the former secretary to the Government of Kwara State, who was set to celebrate his 70th birthday in March, died on Saturday and was survived by his wife and four children.
In a condolence message, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, through his spokesperson Rafiu Ajakaye, commiserated with the family and associates of the learned silk; he would be remembered for his service to the state as a former SSG and Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
The governor prayed to Almighty Allaah to admit the late Saka Isau, SAN, to al-Jannah Firdaus and uphold his family upon goodness.
