The spokesperson said the issue has been settled, and that normal activities of the school are going without any hinderance.

“That (the protest) happened in the early hours of the morning. Everything is fine now. I’m presently at the office and other activities are ongoing as we speak. The students are no longer there. There is nothing like protest at the gate again. The gate is open to anyone that wants to come in and go out,” he said.

The mouthpiece however did not reveal the circumstance that triggered the demonstration.

While reacting to question of whether the demands of the students have been met or not, he said: “You know students will always want to be students.”

The students also protested over attack on some of their colleagues by military officers in an ATM queue.
