Lagos Gov Sanwo-Olu wins LP candidate’s polling unit

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has come victorious at the polling unit of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP in the State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

The LP’s candidate cast his vote at polling unit 045, Oshifila, Anifowoshe, Ikeja Local government area of the State on Saturday March 18.

There were 421 registered voters at the polling unit but only 50 voters got accredited.

According to the presiding officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APC had 34 votes; the Labour Party candidate secured 15 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured one vote in the State House of Assembly election.

APC got 29 ; Labour Party candidate polled 18 while the PDP candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, also known as Jandor gathered 2 votes in the governorship election.
