Lady teacher arrested for sexually violating 5-yr-old pupil in Borno

A female teacher simply identified as Zarah was caught over alleged sexual assault on 5-year-old girl in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.

The teacher has been alleged of inserting her fingers in the sex organ of the victim..

It was gathered from Fatmata security sources, that the suspect’s marriage collapsed in her mid thirties and that she teaches at a primary school very close to the Government House, Maiduguri.

The alleged sexual scandal was reported to have occurred on November 11, 2022.

Hassan Baba, the father of the victim observed that his daughter’s urine has turned red, and which made him hospitalised the small girl at the Umaru Shehu Hospital rape section where she received medical attention.

“On reaching the hospital, it was discovered that she had been penetrated. And on inquiries, she opened up that it was her class teacher that curdled her inside the dark of her hijabs to commit the havoc,” a security source informed The Informant247.

“My teacher Malama falmata kept me inside her hijab after school on that day and asked me to suck her breasts while sitting on her laps.

“While I sucked her breasts she used her fingers to penetrate my private part,” she was quoted to have told her father, who narrated the incident to human rights activists and security agents.

The victim’s father with the help of some neighbors reported the sexual abuse of the small girl to the police station at GRA, very close to the Government House, for due and lawful intervention.

The spokesperson of the police command in the State, Sani Shatambaya, could not be communicated as at the time of producing.
