KWASRRA begins LG residents’ registration
The Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWASRRA) says it has commenced the second phase of
registration for the staff of Local Government Areas and farmers across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State, focusing on the registration of the members of Staff of the Local Government Areas (LGA), Local Government Education Authority ( LGEA), Teaching Service Commission ( TESCOM) and farmers across the state.
The General Manager, Kwara State Residents Registration Agency, Mr. Tajudeen Jimoh, while disclosing this at the ongoing Local Government residents registration at the Secretariat of Patigi Local Government Area, noted that the exercise has been scheduled to take place for a period of eight weeks and residents from two Local Government Areas will be registered per week.
“This phase of the registration exercise will cover all the 16 Local Government Areas of the State. It will be carried out for eight weeks as we have started with Edu and Patigi Local Governments”, he added.
While speaking at the registration centre, the General Manager appreciated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for ensuring a conducive environment for all the Data data-capturing officers, noting that there are enough and well trained Data data-capturing officers and Data Capturing Supervisors to ensure that the second phase of the exercise is also successful.
The General Manager, however, urged all the residents slated for the second phase to partake in the registration while seeking their utmost cooperation and compliance to complement the efforts of the State Government and achieve the set goals.
