KWARTMA deploys 235 personnel for Eid-el-Fitr celebration

The Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency (KWARTMA) has deployed 235 personnel for special operations and patrol of critical areas in the state to ensure safety and orderliness before, during and after the Eid L Fitr Celebration.

The Authority’s head of media, Omotayo Taofiq, in a statement obtained by our correspondent, said personnel are to man different chock points (Traffic Bottleneck Areas) and patrol the highways to forestall any form of accidents and emergencies.

The statement added, “As the Authority wishes all happy celebration, it also charged everyone to cooperate with the staff of the agency at all times  and inform the authority of any breakdown, emergencies or blockage of the road at any point in time and anywhere in the state.”
