Third wave: Kwara records 29 COVID-19 cases in 3 days

Kwara’s COVID-19 cases hit 962 as virus spread to 12 LGs

The Kwara State Government has released the list of hotspots with the highest numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state.

The State Ministry of Health released the statistics while providing updates on the state’s COVID-19 cases.

As of September 1, the data released revealed Ilorin South Local Government Area as heading the list with 431 cases, followed closely by Ilorin West Local Government with 368 cases, and Ilorin East rounds the top three with 94 cases.

Offa with 22 confirmed cases, Ifelodun – 16, Asa – 16, Edu – 4, Oke-Ero – 3, Irepodun – 3, Moro – 2, Oyun – 2 and Ekiti – 1.

Meanwhile, the state recorded 3 new confirmed cases on Wednesday, bringing total number of confirmed cases to 962. However, 789 patients have been discharged so far.
