Kwara United signs partnership deal with 22Bet ahead of new season

Kwara United Football Club has signed a one year trial partnership deal with 22Bet ahead of the new NPFL season.

The deal, according to the club is aimed at complementing the huge investment of the state government towards the development of the club.

Speaking after signing the deal at the Club’s Secretariat in Ilorin on Friday, the Chairman of the Club, Kumbi Titiloye said that the club is signing the deal, the second so far, in a bid to create additional financial and revenue windows to reduce the burden of running the club on government.

Kwara United had earlier signed a deal with an ilorin based outfit, Dickalo Water Company, early this year.

Kumbi, who congratulated the marketing department of the club for the landmark explained that the partnership would avail the fans and lovers of the club an opportunity to enjoy not only value for money in terms of play, but will benefit materials in terms of support services.

“The Marketing Manager of the 22Bet, Mr Adebayo Olusegun Ajala commended the club for its strides last season, especially in the CAF Continental competition, noting that Kwara United is the first NPFL Club in the country that 22Bet is signing a deal with” the statement reads on Friday

He said that the partnership entails branding and promotion of the club as a unique entity that will be reckoned with in the NPFL.

Mr Olusegun, who said that 22Bet is elated to be part of Kwara United family, pointed out that the club’s impressive performance and exploit in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and CAF Confederation Cup motivated 22Bet to partner the club.

Also speaking, the Director Marketing of 22Bet, Mr Babalola Oladapo stressed that the deal with Harmony Boys is the beginning of good things to unfold between the betting company and the team, describing Kwara United as one of the best in the NPFL.

Kwara United Lawyer, Barrister A. J. Edun, while coordinating the signing of the deal said that all legal angles in the partnership has been carefully taken care of.

The Harmony boys will compete in the new NPFL season which is yet to have a kick off date.
