Kwara United Returns Back To Nigeria
Officials and Players of Kwara United have all returned back to Nigeria from Niger Republic after securing a place in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
It would be recalled that Kwara United won 3-0 on aggregate against AS Douanes of Niger Republic after playing out a goalless draw on Sunday away from home.
The Harmony Boys, who were led by the Executive Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission, Bola Mogaji aboard an Air Cote-D’Ivoire Airbus A319 plane touched down at Muritala Muhammed Airport at about 11.05 pm yesterday, Monday, September 19, 2022.
The team, before departing Niger in the early hours of Monday, were hosted by the ambassador to Niger Mohammed Usman who commended their efforts.
Kwara United will face the current champion of the tournament, RS Berkane of Morocco in the next round of the competition in October.
