The Federation of Kwara South students Union has commended the Executive governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Hammad on the release of 50 million Naira to the Kwara state scholarship board for the disbursement of the first phase of bursary scheme. The Union, through a speech delivered by the General Secretary COMRADE BASHIR LAWAL at the Igbomina sectariat Headquarters, Ganmo, noted that despite the economic hardship facing most states of the federation, the Abdulfatah led administration has tried all possible best to prioritize the welfarism of the people of the state.
They further acclaim the president of the senate, Bukola Saraki over the passage of the ‘#nottooyoungtorun’ bill by the the 8th senate. ” …The Kwara south wishes to commend the leadership of the 8th assembly head by Senator Bukola Saraki for his steadfastness and commitment towards the sustaining the legacies of the likes of Awo, Zik and sardauna of blessed memory” he said
Also, they extend their appreciations to the senator representing Kwara South at the federal house of Assembly for his laudable achievements towards making life easy for the people of his senatorial district.
“The entire Kwara South students hereby appeal to the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in this state to please consider Comrade Yinka Ayeni Dallas for the position of Ekiti Local Council Chairman this is our number one and most paramount interest in the upcoming election. This we give our state the chance to lead by example and support the stand of the 8th assembly on the nottooyoungtorun.
The only panacea for development in a complex nation like Nigeria is to have characters embedded with virtues, integrity and as Plato opined, philosophical skills, at the corridor of power.
Therefore, we urge all Kwara South students and youths to pray and support Yinka Ayeni Dallas as Ekiti local Council Chairman.” He concluded.
