The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has mourned the demise of Hon. Mogaji Olawoyin, member representing Magaji ‘n’ Geri constituency of Ilorin West local government, at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
This was contained in a statement made available by Abdulrasheed Akogun, the Deputy Director of Media and Strategic Communications, SDP/Hakeem Lawal Campaign Organization on Monday.
Lawal while reacting to the death of the lawmaker who is also the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the March 11 general elections, charged politicians to always live by not being oblivious of death, stressing that all opportunities to leave a lasting and worthy legacy must be optimized.
The International financial expert thereby commiserated with the immediate and extended family of the deceased, his constituency, the Kwara State House of Assembly and the All Progressives Congress.
He equally prayed for Allah accept his return, forgive his shortcomings and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The death of Olawoyin was announced in the early hours of Monday after a brief illness.
