Kwara poly to commence nine degree programmes in 2026/2027 academic session

The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has announced plans to commence nine degree programmes in the 2026/2027 academic session.

The institution disclosed that the programmes would be offered in affiliation with the University of Ilorin.

The approved programmes cut across science, engineering, management and social sciences.

They include B.Sc. Business Administration, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Eng. Agricultural Biosystems Engineering, B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. Chemistry, B.Sc. Mathematics, B.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Statistics and B.Sc. Sociology.

The development marks an expansion of the institution’s academic offerings, as it prepares to introduce degree-awarding programmes alongside its existing academic programmes.

The nine programmes are expected to commence in the 2026/2027 academic session.
