Kwara monarch urges politicians to support “the masses”
A monarch at Oke Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oloota of Odo Owa, Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula, has charged public servant to use their offices to bring succour to the downtrodden in the society.
The royal father gave this admonition while congratulating the executive governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his one year in office.
Oloota said politicians lshould ensure they discharge their duties in a way that will make the electorate who gave them mandates enjoy dividends of democracy.
Oloota, in his message, described governor as the hope of the masses and architect of modern Kwara with his people oriented laudable programmes of his administration.
Oba Adimula, however, expressed his gratitude on behalf Odo Owa community over the appointment of Chief Titus Olasupo Ashaolu SAN, as chairman Kwara State Judicial Commission and Pastor Abraham Kola Ojo as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment.
Oba Joshua Adeyemi described the appointees as illustrious sons of Odo Owa Community whose wealth of experience will be brought to the fore in the discharge of their public duties.
“Our joy knows no bound on these appointments” Oba Joshua Adeyemi remarked even as he pledged the community’s unalloyed support to the present government.
In a related development, Oba Adeyemi sends royal greetings to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State traditional council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR) on the occasion of his 80th year birthday.
He described the Emir as a quintessential leader whose visionary leadership has been germane to the peace and tranquility witnessed in the state. Oba Adeyemi prayed for long life in good health for the Emir.
The royal father consequently sends his goodwill message to the Oloffa of Offa Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II on the occasion of his tenth year of the throne of his fore fathers.
The monarch, in his message described the Olofa as a visionary leader whose reign has brought great transformational development to Offa community.
Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula enjoyed other traditional institutions in the state to emulate the virtues of these dignifying traditional rulers.
