Kwara holds environmental sanitation tommorow

The Kwara State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation is slated for Saturday, February 29, to afford residents opportunity to clean up their surroundings and improve sanitation in the state.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Environment, the state government said, “The environmental sanitation will hold between 7 am to 9 am. Every person is expected to participate in the exercise by ensuring their surroundings are clean.”

The ministry added added that during the exercise security agents and mobile courts will be on standby to arrest and prosecute defaulters.
