Kwara marks February 27 As Environmental Saturday

The Kwara State modified monthly environmental sanitation will hold on Saturday 27th February, with restriction of human and vehicular movements between 7am and 9am.

Ministry of Environment Press Secretary, Okanlawon Taiwo, in a statement, enjoined Kwara residents to fully participate in the sanitation exercise by cleaning their residential and business environments.

He added that waste management trucks will be on the street for waste collection and disposal.

“There will be no vehicular and human movement, except those on essential assignment. Anyone who violates the Environmental Law would be made to face Mobile Court,” he said.
