Kwara govt to purchase cars for political office holders, as civil service takes 26.5% of 2021 budget

The Kwara State Government has proposed to purchase cars for political office holders in the 2021 budget presented to the state house.

THE INFORMANT247 earlier reported that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday presented a total budget of N123bn to the State House of Assembly.

In the budget,  the civil service has 26.5% of the total budget in which the state government is planning to purchase official vehicles for political office holders after two years of inception of the current administration.

Other sectors included in the budget includes education at 25.5% , health sector at 13.7%, economic affairs taking 25.7% while the state workforce gulps the largest part of the budget 26.5%.
