Kwara govt directs JSS Principals, Headteachers of PPS to report for collection of common entrance materials

The Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development on Friday, directed all Principals of Junior Secondary Schools and Head-Teachers of all Public Primary Schools across the state to report at the Quality Assurance Bureau Zonal Offices in their area for the collection of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) registration materials as from Monday 1st July 2024.

According to a statement issued by Peter Amogbonjaye, Press Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, all Private Primary Schools are to come to the  Quality Assurance Bureau Headquarter’s office, Ilorin, for their pupils registration of Placement Examination (Common Entrance Examination) materials with evidence of payment of their taxes.

The statement furthered that all principals (JSS) and Headteachers desist from extorting money from any pupil under any guise since the examination is fully sponsored by the Kwara State Government, adding that registration for the placement examination (Common Entrance Examination) closes on Thursday, 18th July 2024.

The statement further urged all Principals of JSS and Headteachers across the state to adhere strictly to this directive, warning that failure to ensure compliance would attract severe punishment according to Public Service Rules.
