The Kwara State Government has commenced the rehabilitation of the Sango-Akerebiata road, among others.
The State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu made the disclosure on Saturday during a radio program on Sobi FM.
Rotimi also listed Ipata-Oloje, Alore-Banni, Osi township, station Erinle, Ipata-market roads among others as currently undergoing repairs.
“We have awarded these road projects, and if any contractor handling any of the projects is not on ground by nextweek, we will withdraw it from such contractor. We don’t have much time to waste,” Rotimi said.
He further reiterate commitment to providing job opportunities for indigenous workers through these road projects.
