Kwara govt asks students to prepare for resumption

The Kwara state government, on Tuesday, urged students in tertiary schools across the state to prepare for resumption ahead of October.

The State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Hajia Sa’adatu Kawu Modibbo disclosed this while speaking on a live radio programme in Ilorin tagged, ‘Ireti Mekunu on Harmony FM’.

She stated, “MOTEST (Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology) staff are on assessment tour to various state-owned institutions to assess level of readiness ahead of school resumption.

“Last week, the Ministry had a roundtable discussion with necessary stakeholders, SUG presidents, NANS, NAKSS and Head of Institutions.

“All state-owned institutions have a technical committee on COVID-19. Student should prepare for resumption ahead of October.”
