Kwara Gov’s aide visits Emir of Ilorin, seeks royal blessings

The Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Stakeholders Engagement, Hon. Lagbe Abubakar Sulyman, has paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin, HRH, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, to seek royal blessing and the Emir’s support in the course of his assignment.

The Informant247 gathered that during the visit, the Emir expressed his happiness at the progress being made by the youth of Ilorin in attaining key political positions, and he prayed for Hon. Lagbe’s success in his duties, while also prayed for all well-wishers, friends, and family who accompanied the Special Assistant on the visit.

“I am very happy to see the youth of Ilorin attaining key political posts,” the Emir said. “I pray for your success in the course of your assignment, and I declare my support for you.”

In his remark, Hon. Lagbe expressed his gratitude to the Emir for his support and blessing, while he promised to work diligently to achieve the government’s goals of promoting community participation in governance and fostering sustainable development in Kwara State.

“I am grateful for your support and blessing, Your Highness,” Hon. Lagbe said. “I promise to work hard and achieve the government’s goals of promoting community participation in governance and fostering sustainable development in Kwara State.”

It was learnt that Hon. Lagbe’s visit to the Emir of Ilorin was part of the state government’s efforts to foster a cordial relationship between the government and traditional institutions in the state, and to seek their support in promoting participatory governance and sustainable development.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both parties pledging to work together towards achieving the shared goal of promoting community participation in governance and fostering sustainable development in Kwara State.
