Kwara Governor presents staff of office to new Oloro of Oro, urges unity (VIDEO)

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, represented by his Deputy, Kayode Alabi, formally presented the Second Class Staff of Office to Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye, the new Oloro of Oro Kingdom, in a ceremony held at the Deputy Governor’s Office in Ilorin on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

In his message, Governor Abdulrazaq encouraged the newly appointed monarch to lead with compassion, integrity, and fairness.

He also urged the people of Oro Kingdom to support Oba Titiloye’s leadership to foster unity and prosperity across the community.

Oba Titiloye’s appointment was officially approved on Saturday, October 26, following the completion of all necessary processes, as announced by the State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development, Hon. Abdullahi Abubakar Bata.

The monarch, known as a cultural promoter based in Canada, is expected to usher in a new era of growth and development for Oro Kingdom.
