Kwara Gov AbdulRazaq lauds Senator Oloriegbe’s appointment as NHIA chair

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has offered his warmest congratulations to Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe on his appointment as chairman of the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA).

Governor AbdulRazaq stated that this appointment is well deserved, highlighting Senator Oloriegbe’s background as a medical professional, his fervent advocacy for the health sector, and his previous success as the chairman of the Senate Committee on Health.

The Governor, in a statement by his spokesperson Rafiu Ajakaye, also extended his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing the importance of this appointment, which he believes serves as a significant honor for the people of Kwara State, particularly the members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He, however, expressed confidence that Senator Oloriegbe will bring his extensive experience and network to further develop the NHIS, making it more beneficial for the community.

Governor AbdulRazaq concluded by praying for Senator Oloriegbe’s success in this vital role and urged all stakeholders in the health sector to provide their support for the new chairman.
