The Kwara State Environmental Task Force, on Tuesday, presented some waste bins to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-gambari at his palace in Ilorin.
While receiving the waste bins, Sulu-Gambari admonished Kwarans to take care of their environments as “Godliness can only be attained through cleanliness”.
He further implored the Task Force not to relent in their effort of making Kwara clean, praying for their success.
Addressing journalists after the presentation, Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo said that, “the presentation is not limited to the capital city alone as efforts are being made to touch other parts of the state but priority is being given to the capital city”.
He said, “the monthly environmental sanitation is continuous and people should come out in mass to clean the environment at the end of the month.”
