Kwara education commisioner commends progress of bilingual projects in Share, Ballah

The Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, has expressed satisfaction on the progress of the ongoing construction of Boarding Junior and Senior Secondary School in Share, Ifelodun LGA among others.

According to a statement signed by the the Press Secretary, MEHCD, Peter Amongbonjaye, “the project is being carried out by Bilingual Education Project (BEP) in partnership with Islamic Development Bank (ISDB)”.

During an impromptu visits to the projects sites, Moddibo expressed her satisfaction with the development, warning the contractors against using substandard materials, urging them to increase the number of toilets in the hostel building visited.

She noted that the projects will improve the enrollment of children, who are out of school.

The Commissioner commended the Partners for their initiative to establish such gigantic and wonderful projects in Kwara State, noting that the AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq-led administration will continue to partner with organizations that are ready to contribute to uplifting the state.

BEP, in partnership with ISDB established a three modern boarding schools with e-Learning and ICT facilities across the three Senatorial Districts of Kwara State: Share in Ifelodun Local Government Area; Balla Community in Asa Local Government Area; and Banni in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
