Kwara DPP makes new SAN list

Kwara State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) in the Ministry of Justice, Barr. Jimoh Adebimpe Mumini was on Friday named as one of the new entrants to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, a statement by the Ministry’s Press Secretary, Oyinloye Olusola, said.

Barr. Mumini is one of the lawyers that were newly elevated by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee to the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria.

According to the statement, Barr. Mumini with this elevation becomes the first Civil Servant and State Counsel to attain this legal height as a serving DPP in the State Ministry of Justice.

The DPP, who was called to Bar about 30 years ago started his career as a State Counsel 11 in 1993 and was appointed to the position of Director of Public Prosecution in 2004, the position which he has been occupying till date.

“I am full of joy and happy to have attained this height in my legal career,” the DPP said.
