Kwara COVID-19 cases hit 79 with 4 new infections

Kwara State has recorded 4 new cases of coronavirus, THE INFORMANT247 reports.

This brings the total number of infections in the state to 79, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The Centre also said the total number of cases in the country hit 7839 while 2263 recoveries and 226 deaths have been recorded.

Announcing via Twitter on Subday night, the NCDC stated, “313 new cases of COVID- 19 have been reported; 148 in Lagos, 36 in FCT, 12 in Ogun, 27 in Rivers, 19 in Edo, 13 in Kano, 11 in Ebonyi, 8 in Nasarawa, 8 in Delta, 7 in Oyo, 5 in Kaduna, 3 in Always Ibom, 3 in Bayelsa, 2 in Niger, 4 in Kwara, 6 in Plateau, and 1 in Pleteau.”
