Kwara commissioner assumes new role, charges staff to be proactive

Chief Mrs. Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, has urged the staff of the Ministry to be proactive in discharging their duties to take the ministry to greater heights.

Buraimoh gave this charge on Tuesday when assuming her duties as the new commissioner of the ministry following the cabinet reshuffle by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Buraimoh, who succeeded Dr Afeez Abolore, who was moved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, urged the management and all staffers of the Ministry to be proactive, remain steadfast, and committed to their duty to add value to governance.

Buraimoh appreciated the warm welcome accorded her on the assumption of duty, appealing to loyalty and more dedication to work to complement government efforts.

She also charged the staff of various departments to work in synergy to ease their jobs and enhance productivity to achieve the target goals of the Ministry.

Handing over to the new Commissioner, the outgoing Commissioner, Dr. Alabi Afeez Abolore, appraised the staffers of the Ministry for their commitment and dedication to work with an appeal that they give their new Principal maximum cooperation to achieve more tremendous success.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Tpl Isiaka Yinka Olokoba, welcomed the new commissioner and assured her of maximum support and cooperation

While praying for more tremendous success and achievements for Dr. Abolore in his new office as Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Olokoba also wished the newly posted Commissioner, Hon Olaitan Buraimoh, a successful tenure of office in the state Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.
