The Kwara State Colleges of Education workers under the platform of Committee of Unions of Tertiary institutions, CUTI, have embarked on an indefinite strike.
The workers had issued a three-day warning strike, lastweek, to the state government to meet up their five-point demands.
The five-point demands included the release of funds
for accreditation of courses, payment of backlog of salaries, 30 percent salary increment, promotion benefits that accrued since 2013.
Recall that the academic activities have been paralysed in the four state owned Colleges of Education in Ilorin, Oro, Lafiaji and Cails
