Dr. Mrs. Mercy Olufunke Shittu, the Permanent Secretary for Service Welfare, made the warning during a courtesy visit from representatives of Offa indigents.

Mrs Shittu underscored the importance of commitment and diligence at work while emphasizing the ongoing efforts by the state government to enhance the welfare and working conditions for all employees.

“We are striving hard to ensure that you have a conducive environment,” she stated, encouraging workers to stay dedicated and committed to their roles. She also assured that those who demonstrate exceptional diligence will be duly rewarded.

During the visit, she urged the gathered team to avoid absenteeism and truancy, urging everyone to uphold their responsibilities.
