Kwara Central PDP youth leader, Abdul Adangba mourns Larry
A front line member and current youth leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Abdulhamid Issa Adangba has expressed sadness over the demise of Abdulmajeed Olanrewaju Oba who died in Lagos, after a brief ailment.
Larry, as he was fondly called by rank and file vied for Kwara State House of Assembly in the 2019 General Elections.
Adangba however, explained that his death is a monumental loss to him and the PDP as a family, describing him a philanthropic figure, who has left behind an indelible imprint in the society.
He said, “The death of Larry has really caused us an irredeemable loss to me and the PDP as a political platform.
“He was a selfless figure who was only vying for political office with the intent to change societal narratives and lift the people out of abject penury.
“This is an untimely loss, I must confess. It’s only God that can heal our pains,” he said.
Adangba prayed to God to gift family of the late politician the mental strength to bear the loss.
