Kwara House of Assembly to resume plenary on Wednesday
All members of the Kwara State House of Assembly will resume plenary session on Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m., the Clerk to the House, Halimat Jummai Kperogi, has said.
The lawmakers had on March 23, suspended plenary sessions indefinitely in order to curb the spread of the disease as well as put up other safety measures in the complex.
The lawmakers were expected to resume legislative on March 24 after an oversight function before the indefinite coronavirus break.
According to sources, the resumption of plenary is, however, not unrelated to the reviewed 2020 budget and other issues of urgent importance.
