Kogi guber poll: PDP candidate Melaye fails to vote

Senator Dino Melaye, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has refused to cast his votes, disappointing his supporters and party members.

According to a report, Melaye who was supposed to cast his vote at Polling Unit 04, Iluafon Quarters, Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, failed to show up at the polling unit until the voting ended at 2 pm on Saturday.

Although his aides, party members and supporters were at the polling centre waiting for him, the former senator was nowhere to be found around the polling centre.

However, at the time of filing this report, the reason for his absence from the polling unit to exercise his civic responsibility was yet unknown.
