Kidnappers release two abducted farmers after N6million ransom in Osun

The abductors of Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola, the Osun state farmers have released their victims alongside one of the relatives who went to deliver the ransom

The Informant247 earlier reported that the gunmen kidnapped two farmers while returning from their farm along Ede/Ileoogbo road in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State last Wednesday and the demanded for N25million as ransom.

However, the kidnappers later agreed to collect N6million which was delivered to them in boarder community between Kogi and Kwara State.

Meanwhile, three relatives, including the elder brother of Samuel named Sunday were also detained after they delivered the ransom to them and fresh N24million was demanded for their release.

A family source confirmed on Wednesday morning that Samuel and Tobiloba that were earlier abducted have been released around a bush kidnapped while another relative who was among those that went to deliver ransom in Kogi state was released.

Yemisi Opalola, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, confirmed the incident, when contacted over the release.
