Some Kanywood and Nollywood actors and actresses on Tuesday landed in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, in solidarity with the presidential flagbearer of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, and the voice presidential candidate of the party, Kashim Shettima.
The APC initiates its presidential campaign in the state to influence the citizens of Nigeria to back, support and vote for Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima as president and vice- please, respectively.
Some of the actors sighted by the newsmen include; Jide Kosoko, Foluke Daramola, Gentle Jack, Ali Nuhu and Sani Mu’azu.
Others actors are; Said Balogun, Zack Orji, Bimbo Akintola, Taiwo Hassan, among others.
Jide Kosoko, while making a brief remark, disclosed that they were in the state to show support for Tinubu whom he referred to as the fittest for the position.
Kosoko added that the former Governor of Lagos State has proved his competence in all the positions he held.
Ali Nuhu while speaking for Kanywood, persuaded the people for support for Tinubu and Shettima.
“I am here with some of my colleagues and we are here to pledge our support for Tinubu,” he assured the audience.
The Kanywood and Nollywood actors and actresses danced to various songs in solidarity with the APC candidates.
It was gathered that some singers and entertainers, including Zulezu, Terry G, and many others, displayed their talents in the event.
